This Month's Menus

Nutrition & Mealtime Policies

OCC participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), providing nutritious meals that meet USDA guidelines. Meals are prepared on-site, and menus are shared monthly with families. Annual CACFP paperwork is required.

Meals & Snacks

OCC provides breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack:

  • Breakfast: Served until 8:00 a.m. Please arrive by 7:50 a.m. Children arriving later should eat before coming to the center. Breakfast from home is not permitted.
  • Morning Snack: 9:15 a.m. Families provide a classroom snack once per month.
  • Lunch: 12:00 p.m.
  • Afternoon Snack: 3:00 p.m.

Water is available throughout the day. Children are encouraged, never forced, to try new foods.

Food Safety & Allergies

OCC is a peanut-free facility. Please check all food labels carefully. Outside food must be preapproved by your child’s teacher or brought on a scheduled snack day. Use only non-glass, non-breakable containers.

Please notify the office of any food allergies or dietary needs. A written healthcare provider statement is required for dietary substitutions outside CACFP guidelines. OCC will make every effort to accommodate documented needs while following food safety and choking-prevention practices.

Infant Feeding

Infants are fed according to their individual schedules. Families may provide breast milk, formula, and infant foods or use OCC-provided options. All bottles and food containers must be labeled with the child’s name and required dates. OCC follows safe feeding, storage, and preparation procedures.
