Our Infant Room is a safe, warm, and welcoming environment designed to support babies as they explore, develop, and build their first relationships.

Our classrooms provide age-appropriate furniture, sensory materials, and dedicated spaces for feeding, diapering, resting, and active exploration.

Teachers intentionally create opportunities for babies to develop across the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) developmental domains, including:

Health & Physical Development
Social & Emotional Development
Language Development & Communication
Approaches to Learning
Cognition & General Knowledge

Infant Room Features

Through experiences such as tummy time, sensory exploration, movement, music, books, and one-on-one conversations, infants are encouraged to build strength, curiosity, communication, and early problem-solving skills. Most importantly, our teachers focus on responsive, nurturing relationships. Cuddles, smiles, eye contact, conversation, and consistent caregiving help babies feel secure, develop trust, and build a strong foundation for future learning.
