Our Two-Year-Old Room is a safe, stimulating, and child-centered environment designed to support toddlers as they become more independent, curious, and confident learners.

Child-sized furniture, low shelves, and accessible materials encourage children to make choices, explore independently, and engage in hands-on play.

The classroom includes thoughtfully arranged interest areas for reading, active play, art, sensory exploration, building, and dramatic play.

Predictable routines and consistent expectations help children feel secure while developing independence, focus, and social-emotional skills.

Our teachers intentionally plan experiences that support all five developmental domains of the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS):

Health & Physical Development
Social & Emotional Development
Language Development & Communication
Approaches to Learning
Cognition & General Knowledge

Two Year Old Room Features

Through play, conversation, movement, sensory experiences, books, art, and interactions with peers, children are encouraged to communicate their ideas, solve problems, practice new skills, and build relationships.
