Ms. Taylor
Mequon Floater
I am Ms. Taylor, 24 years old, from a very small town in Upstate New York, about an hour from Canada! I moved here in the summer of 2023 with my wife, Alissia, and our three dogs. I have always loved being around children and watching them explore, learn, and grow. There’s something so special about the curiosity and excitement young children bring every day, and I feel lucky to be part of their journey.
I enjoy creating a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe to try new things, ask questions, and express themselves. Whether it’s through art, stories, songs, or play, I love helping children discover their own talents and personalities. Seeing a child accomplish something new, hear their laughter, or share a hug is truly the best part of my day. Being a part of their early learning experiences is both a joy and a privilege, and it inspires me to keep learning and growing as an educator every day
Educational Experience
During my junior and senior years of high school, I attended an Education and Human Services class that opened my eyes to childcare in all its forms. I have been in childcare for almost three years and have completed trainings including Introduction to the Child Care Profession, Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care, and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELs). I have been part of the OCC staff for over two years and love seeing the children and teachers happy each day!
