I have always loved working with children, beginning with babysitting at age 12. During high school, I completed the Human Service Co-op course, and once I turned 18 in 1990, I began working as an assistant at a childcare center. In total, I have over 30 years of experience in childcare, including roles as a nanny and an inhome provider, in addition to raising my own three children.

I originally started with OCC in 2008. After a brief 16-month break, I returned and have been back for six years, totaling 16 years with the center. I truly love the families, staff, and management here. It is a joy to watch the babies grow and develop, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see them learning and smiling every day
