Ms. Liz

Mequon Floater

My name is Liz, and I have been part of OCC since 2000. I previously served as the PreK Lead, and when I was ready for a change, I became the Lead in Older Ones. Currently, I float through the older classrooms, supporting teachers and students as needed.

I enjoy creating activities and crafts that tie into our classroom themes, and I also contribute to Classroom Dojo using my passion and experience in photography. Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering at Shalom Wildlife Sanctuary, practicing photography, and spending as much quality time as possible with my daughter. Being part of OCC for over two decades has been a rewarding experience, and I cherish the opportunity to help children learn and grow.

Educational Experience

I graduated from Cedarburg High School and attended the Seattle Art Institute, where I earned my associate degree in Photography. Since beginning my work in Early Childhood, I have completed several professional development courses, including The School Age Assistant Child Care Worker Correspondence Course through the Early Education Station, as well as Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care. Additionally, I completed Early Childhood 1 through MATC in 2001.
